This is because Samsung is among the leading electronics manufacturing firm in the world today. In fact, it is the biggest revenue earning electronics firm to date, and is second to Apple when it comes to selling mobile phones.
Samsung, owned by the Lees, who are among the wealthiest families in South Korea, has come a long way from being originally a company of 30 employees trading vegetables and dried fish. Today, it produces electronic gadgets, especially mobile phones, builds ship, sells insurance and is into the construction business.
